Congratulations to Rose and James  ...on their wonderful victory in the Doubles Matchplay Competition. They were deserved winners of a hard fought competition, especially over the doughty competitors Agnes and John, in the final.  They never lost their nerve despite having their early lead hauled back to level at one stage. [These couple of photos at the presentation ceremony are courtesy of Ciaran].  James who is always praising everyone else was almost speechless but, when composed, he thanked his most able partner, Rose, and his coach, Sean J! Our thoughts are with Rose's husband, Brian, who would love to have been part of the special occasion.  We'll see him in the New Year DV. Rose and James, the Victors.
