The advice is changing by the day.  As Tom B. says....'we're doing our bit'.  Pity not to be able to play as normal but in the bigger picture our inconvenience is a triviality.  If viewing the photos on a computer click on them to enlarge them. Back to the future......., Gerry....'Social Distancing' yesterday in St. Anne's Park. It's not all doom and gloom........ Vandalism.....caught in the act!

We had play on Wed. 18th after the quietest St. Patrick's Day in modern history.  The Coronavirus is affecting all aspects of our lives.  We are encouraged, since there is no evidence of the virus being airborne except in close proximity to an infected person sneezing or coughing in your personal space, to exercise with 'social distancing'. Through our adherence to the advice of the Authorities; our own precautionary behaviours and with the similarity to the advice to golfers we are, for the present, continuing to play. As you can see from the table below Ciaran is maintaining his slender lead with three players in the 'seventies'.....so to speak! Remember it's the best 8 / 12 to count. NAMES Week 3 Date: Wed. Use new disposable  gloves if raking and bin them afterwards in the newly installed bin. Have a designated measurer for the game so only one person is using the tape which will

Monday the 7th March was a wash-out with steady rain.  However, that didn't deter our most senior player, Gerry, who had the pistes to himself!  WhatsApp lit up with messages that someone was spotted on the pistes through the torrential rain......on closer investigation.....the pictures never lie.......What a man! Tuesday 10th March saw the article regarding the Official opening of the new facility published in the Northside People. And just to drive home the message that we're not 'rubbish' players Fingal Co. Co. provided a new bin at the Verbena Park entrance to the park.  For that we thank them and we hope that their new-found interest in upgrading the park continues with the reinstatement of the pathways to their original width / surface and that they continue to liaise with us regarding improvements e.g. more signage regarding dog waste etiquette. Wednesday was just the second day of play in Competition A of 2020.  The cream is rising to t
