Congratulations to Nigel on his fine win in the inaugural Singles Matchplay of the B.B.C. in these Covid Times. He managed a two game victory over Jimmy on Sat. 21st. He is now the holder of the Singles and Doubles Matchplay Trophies. Some achievement! Many would love to been present but the restrictions wouldn't allow. However a few attended for the presentations to mark the occasion.

Tom B. presented Ciaran with a 'designer planter' for his family, by way of thanks from all the players for his amazing work on the Matchplay App. which permitted continuous play across the past month.

We're continuing to play into early December using the timetable, competitively but not in competition.
Reminder, that Nationwide on RTE tomorrow is featuring the 'Orhard' community garden in Bayside.
A visit to the 'Lamb Chop' in December will further demonstrate the benefit of local involvement in raising the profile of an area and benefitting the entire community, even in the Covid times.
