42nd Post.

What a beautiful morning!  Thirteen players for Week 5 of the competition.  Ciaran has collated the scores, as follows:

Charlie is holding his lead on 126 after 5 games. with Ciaran, Sean and Chris in hot pursuit.
As you can see we're continuing to practice our 'Social Distancing' while still enjoying the games.

We draw the cards after 9.20 a.m. so players can be on the pistes ready to play at 9.30 a.m. to 11.00 a.m.
the accumulated score in the time frame is your aim, so if one game is below par you can always make amends in the next game....if you're opponents allow!  You finish the end you're playing when the time is up.
Where possible we will play in groups of 4.  If the numbers don't allow that, then we will try to avoid three players playing singles as it is the slowest form of play.
However, any player arriving after play has started, will, if it's a rare occurrence, be accommodated but players need to be willing to have a new player join the group while maintaining their score.  It may entail going from three boules each to two boules each if a group of two becomes a group of three.
Solve it all by arriving well before 9.30 a.m. please.
2 v 2 is the preferred game but there will be times when 1 v 1, 3 v 3, 3 v 2, and the dreaded 1 v 1 v 1 may have to happen.

We have had various visitors playing on the pistes recently:

Tom with former work colleagues.  Spot the Badge!!!

Michael with fellow players from Bushy Park trying out the pistes.
