Monday Competition: What a finish to what might be the last Monday Competition for a while. The top four players Larry, Chris, Sean and Ciarán were separated by just 3 points.  Ciarán, with a Running Total of 233 just pipped Sean to win the trophy.  Congratulations Ciarán. As per Inaugural AGM we are canvassing members to check if a change of date from Monday is desirable.  From the poll results to date it seems that the Monday Competition will remain for now.  A few members are excluded by this arrangement but we may consider a separate Saturday Competition for any interested parties, going forward. Precision Shooting: Ciarán and Dirk represented BBC at the inaugural National Competition in Bushy Park.  They were generally playing at the same time so didn't get a chance to take any photos themselves.  The competition was stiff but they acquitted themselves well.  By next year, with the assistance of Tom Buckley's machine, and more practice we should be better placed to contes

Monday Competition: The Monday competition is continuing with keen interest from all involved including the latest players, John O'connor, Eddie Phillips,  Hamed Sako, Terry Stanley, Marie Doherty.                                                        Following the AGM earlier in the year the Committee has agreed to move the next Competition to Saturday mornings with a view to permitting working members to play, should they wish, and broaden the appeal to potential new, younger members along with other BBC members who couldn't play on Mondays. Two New Pistes: The two piste extension is up, readyand in use.  Our thanks to Alan Bennett for the aerial footage using his drone camera.  Already we are reaping the benefits of the extra facilities with no pressure on numbers wishing to play, in competitions or otherwise.  The school will have the benefit, also, on return after the holidays.   The two new benches are due within the month.   Our thanks to Nigel for designing and creating the three new scoreboard holders.   The two new benches were installed today 18-07-24 in the rain!  One is wheelchair accessible.   We will stain the table/seat parts to deter graffiti as we did with the previous benches.  We must wait for a dry day!  The contractors also replaced the damaged timber on Piste B. Photos courtesy of Ciarán, Tom B and Tom D. Stained today to hopefully deter graffiti! Friday Night Social Boules: The Friday Night Boules is going steadily.  We had over twenty tonight including two local ladies for whom it was their first exp
